VocaLabs Expands Demographic Data To Include Cell Phone Ownership

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., February 4, 2003 - Vocal Laboratories, the pioneer of usability surveys for customer service, announced today the availability of expanded panelist demographic data. In addition to being able to select panelists based on age, gender, income level, place of residence and place of birth, we have added cellular phone ownership.

VocaLabs has been collecting data on panelists' cell phone ownership since mid-December and now has this data on 35% of our panelist base. This data is now available as a survey selection criteria for all VocaLabs clients, and will be included in all future VocaLabs survey reports.

"Our customers have expressed a high level of interest in knowing whether panelists own cell phones. The expanded demographics allow our clients to target usability and marketing surveys to specific groups of prospective callers," commented Jessica J. Ament, VP of Marketing at Vocal Laboratories.

In addition, VocaLabs is gathering data on which panelists speak four different languages, either natively or fluently. The four languages are English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
