Vocal Laboratories Policies

Privacy
To properly manage its survey panelist, Vocal Laboratories requires all panelists to provide correct personally identifying information, specifically name, address, phone number, and E-mail address. Vocal Laboratories treats this lists of panelists as confidential, and does not sell or release personally identifying information about panelists to any VocaLabs client or third-party marketing service.

All aspects of every survey are recorded (including survey answers, phone calls, caller ID, E-mail, and web interactions) and may be provided to VocaLabs' clients. If you volunteer personally identifying information during the course of a survey, this may be provided to a VocaLabs' client. For example, if you supply your name or phone number during a recorded call or in response to a survey question, that recording or survey answer may be provided to a VocaLabs client.

In addition, VocaLabs will provide its clients with demographic information (for example, age, gender, income, educational level, state of residence) about panelists, and will correlate demographic data to particular survey answers and call recordings.

VocaLabs may occasionally have to disclose personally identifiable information about panelists to third parties in order to properly carry out business activities. This may include sharing the panelist list with VocaLabs' lawyers, accountants, or companies VocaLabs hires to perform certain tasks. Any such disclosure will be as limited as is reasonably possible.

Any panelist may delete his or her account at any time through VocaLabs' website. VocaLabs will remove all personally identifying information about a deleted panelist from VocaLabs' database within 30 days.

Payments
Panelists receive cash for completing certain tasks for Vocal Laboratories. The cash value for completing certain tasks will be determined by VocaLabs. VocaLabs will determine, in its sole discretion, when cash is to be awarded and in what manner. Cash payments which are unclaimed after a period of twelve months are subject to a $1 per month service fee.

Vocal Laboratories never charges consumers for participation in its surveys, nor asks consumers to purchase any goods or services, nor otherwise asks consumers for any payment of any kind. Occasionally, we receive reports of companies which claim to be affiliated with VocaLabs offering consumers goods or services (for example, access to a list of comapnies which perform consumer surveys). Since we rely on our good reputation, we ask that if someone asks you for money claiming to be affiliated with VocaLabs, please report it to us at panelist@vocalabs.com.

Inactive Accounts
If a panelist has not completed a survey for 365 days, or if e-mail sent to a panelist is returned as undeliverable, Vocal Laboratories may disable or remove the account.

Multiple Accounts and Inaccurate Information
Each panelist may have only one account, and must provide accurate personal information as requested by Vocal Laboratories. Personal information which VocaLabs describes as "optional" must be accurate if provided.

Any panelist found to have more than one account, or to have supplied inaccurate information, will forfeit any unpaid cash and have his/her account(s) disabled, at VocaLabs sole discretion.

Changes to This Policy
Vocal Laboratories reserves the right to make changes to this policy at any time. VocaLabs will make a reasonable effort to notify active panelists, either through E-mail or through this web site, of any changes to this policy shortly after such changes are made. If VocaLabs makes any changes to the Privacy portion of this policy which would allow more disclosure than the policy then in effect, VocaLabs will provide panelists with the option of disabling their accounts rather than be subject to such disclosure.
