Vocalabs Appoints Emily de Rotstein as VP Sales and Marketing to Lead Company Growth Strategy

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (March 23, 2009) – Vocal Laboratories Inc. (Vocalabs), a leader in the measurement of customer service satisfaction, today announced that Emily Selene de Rotstein has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Managing Director. Vocalabs expanded its executive team to help manage its growing customer satisfaction survey and usability testing business.

An experienced entrepreneur and strategic marketer, de Rotstein brings to Vocalabs diverse industry experience and a background in launching and marketing advanced technologies. Most recently, de Rotstein was founder and vice president of marketing for Aveso, a venture-backed spin-out from The Dow Chemical Company that produces flexible electronic displays for next generation credit cards, medical diagnostics, military and industrial applications.

Earlier in her career, de Rotstein was a sales executive for Claritas, a subsidiary of Nielsen, where she was responsible for large account management and new business development for the company’s target marketing solutions.  She also held executive leadership positions in the publishing industry, including director of marketing for The Chicago Sun-Times and director of North American sales for its sister publication, The Jerusalem Post. de Rotstein holds a BA in International Relations from The University of Minnesota and an MBA from The University of Massachusetts.
