Airline Customer Service
Wednesday - May 17, 2006 10:39 AM in
The University of Michigan customer service survey is out, and it shows that airline service stinks. And our local carrier, Northwest, is at the bottom of the pack. It doesn't help that Northwest is not merely bankrupt, but probably the most bankrupt of all the major airlines (if degrees of bankruptcy are possible).
Guess which airline I get to fly tonight?
Sadly, it is hard to avoid Northwest when you live in Minneapolis, since they control the majority of flights and gates here. But I try. When possible, I fly on Midwest, which has outstanding service. But Midwest doesn't go where I need to be tomorrow.
Of course, I'd rather be flying on a corporate jet. But I'm having a hard time convincing the guy who runs VocaLabs that a jet makes sense.
