Okay, I've been passing along stuff at the expense of call centers (and especially offshore call centers) for a few weeks. Now it's time to pick on speech recognition.
Automated speech recognition is amazingly sophisticated, but still not as sophisticated as the human brain. Don't believe me? Check out this version of The Jabberwocky, as transcribed by voice recognition software.
