We've been trying to devise a tagline for VocaLabs, one which will give new visitors to this blog and our website at least a vague notion of who VocaLabs is and what we're about. Devising a tagline is surprisingly hard. We want it to be just a few words long, memorable, and communicate something about who we are and what we do.

We have a couple of candidates that we like (and may introduce one of them soon), but the scope of rejects is breathtaking. Here are a few:

We Do Surveys Right (and chicken, too)

Ensuring the Quality of Customer Care(ZZZZzzzzz)

Your Calls Are Very Important to Us(Cute joke, but nobody's going to get it)

If You Survey Callers, VocaLabs Can Do It Better(Did our accountants write this one?)

The Next Generation of Satisfaction Measurement(We actually used this briefly, when we announced Express Feedback.)

Satisfaction Surveys. Usability Testing. Better data, faster results, simpler setup, and more cost-effective. (If I buy enough adjectives, can I get a free verb?)

Award Winning Feedback on Satisfaction and Usability. (I always stop reading when I see the phrase "award winning," since that's usually my cue that the rest of the sentence is PR hype)

Who would have thought that coming up with 4-12 words would be so hard?
